Revela Dão Vinhas Velhas Branco 2024

Mariana Salvador has been crafting characterful whites and reds in the Dão for almost a decade, with Revela ("Revelation") being the first project that is wholly her own. Sourced from a ~50 year-old field blend vineyard of at least 5 different white grapes, this is where Mariana and the unique landscape of the Dão fully flex their muscles. Fragrant and enticing with this flinty aroma and salty citrus, orchard, and stone fruit notes, the palate has this phenomenal concentration with a streak of savory herbal tones and a concise streak of acidity to balance out the breadth of these mature vines - could easily age for a couple of years but is absolutely beautiful now. - Charlie Arnedt
